Philippians 1: 6 “For I am confident of tho very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

If you have committed your life to the Lord, to serve and follow Him with your whole life, then you probably can clearly remember the day that you made that choice.  Even those who have known the Lord since they were children, can recall a specific time that they had to make a mature decision to make Jesus LORD.

If you have had such a time, then you should also know that at that very moment God began a good work in you.

If you’re like me, when you first gave your life to Christ, you probably didn’t consider how much growing you still had ahead of you.  It may not have occurred to you that the “Work” that just began, would take a lifetime to come to perfection.  I know that all I could think about was how thankful and happy I was to be made NEW. I was clean, and given a fresh start.

Then over time, as we began to walk this Christian walk, we may face challenges on every side.  We may stumble and fall.  Some of us stumble and fall more than we walk.

But it is important to NEVER FORGET that the truth still stands:  HE WHO BEGAN a good work in you WILL CARRY IT OUT.  It’s a promise.  Your walking, crawling, stumbling, or falling, will never remove you from God’s Hand.

As long as you continue to turn back to the Lord, He will lift you up, He will carry you when needed, and He will remind you through HIs Spirit that you have a future and a hope.

BE CONFIDENT OF THIS:  He who began a good work in you is NOT done.  Keep getting up, keeping looking to Him, and allow His plan to continue until one day it reaches perfection.

Amen, with Aloha,
