Trevor Berge grew up surfing in Huntington Beach California. However, it was while living in Bend, Oregon, that he discovered the Walking on Water films, beginning with the movie, “Changes.” Changes so deeply impacted Trevor, that he decided to show it at a major youth skate outreach in Bend. Four hundred kids showed up for the outreach, and many kids gave their life to the Lord through it.

Trevor and his family became fans of all of the WOW films, and he was later asked to be on the team to show the movie Walking on Water, when Bryan Jennings showed it in Bend. It was another great experience. But it wasn’t long before Trevor and his family decided to make the move back to the ocean–to Carlsbad, California. Trevor was excited to bring his three kids to the WOW summer surf camps. He was then on the team to organize the showings of the Beyond Sight movie in Encinitas. Trevor has great respect for everything Walking on Water does. “I have always been encouraged by the things Walking on Water has done to impact the surfing community. Bryan’s creative approach reaches places that are really hard to get to. It is unique and it is brave.”

Now Trevor and his family have taken their own brave step by starting an online store for the ocean lifestyle: Groundswell Supply. The store opened in October of 2014, and is expanding to include more great brands and products all of the time. Groundswell Supply carries high quality products that are made ethically and responsibly, and they are also partners with non-profit organizations which are impacting many lives.
