Our mission at Walking On Water is to reach and impact the global surfing community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through films, outreaches, surf camps and missions trips. It is always encouraging to receive feedback and learn of the different ways God is utilizing this mission for His Glory! The following is a letter from someone whose life was powerfully impacted by the Walking On Water Films.

“My name is Jonathan Morris, I’m eighteen years old and a senior in high school. I was at last nights showing of “Promised Land” at Northside Baptist Church in Wilmington N.C. and I want to start out by saying that I loved the film so much. I wanted to thank you for all the work you and WOW do. I love all of your movies. Noah’s Arc was really the first surf movie I ever watched as a kid, and it was great because through it I saw someone (Noah) who I could look up to not only as a surfer but also as a person in a culture that is deprived of good role models. I love how your work allows you to entertain through surfing but also bring glory to God by presenting the gospel and telling individual’s stories. As a film-maker myself I respect you a lot for not focusing solely on surfing but focusing on the bigger picture. I loved what Britt Merrick had to say in the film about utilizing one’s passions – how you have to be passionate about what you are doing and when you combine that with the plans God has for you, you can achieve huge things for him! Thank you so much for all the work that you and WOW have done. You have inspired me to continue working in film and surfing. I hope one day to also make films like you and to do so in a way that I can let people know about our wonderful God. Thanks so much for your work!”
