I first want to wish all of our Walking On Water friends a blessed and Merry Christmas season! Twenty years ago I had a simple idea to start a surf camp as a way to share my faith in Jesus Christ. We had no idea where that first step of faith would take us, and I am now looking back on twenty miraculous years of sharing the Gospel not only through surf camps, but also through our movies, outreach events, and mission trips. We praise God knowing that over forty million people in 35 countries have heard the Gospel message through the Walking On Water ministry! I want to thank each one of you who have partnered with us through your prayers, time, and generous giving! Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Christmas is all about celebrating the fact that God loved us enough to allow his son Jesus Christ to be born into this imperfect world with the mission to purposefully die in our place, saving us from our sins that would otherwise separate us from God for eternity. My daily prayer is for everyone I know to receive God’s free gift of salvation that is only found in believing in Jesus and receiving His forgiveness for our sins! The thought of anyone I know being separated from God for eternity in hell is so heartbreaking and I often have to remind myself that it is God’s job to pursue each person with the hopes that they will not reject His free gift. So as we look ahead towards 2016 lets keep our focus on things that will matter for eternity instead of being too caught up in this world. “Lord, will you please work through each person reading this right now to lead someone to begin a relationship with you? We were lost and blind, but by your grace we now are found and we see. Now we want to share YOU with everyone around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

Merry Christmas,
