BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Bryan Jennings grew up in La Jolla, California and accomplished his goal of becoming a professional surfer at age 18. A few years later Bryan founded the Walking On Water surf camp as a way to share his love of surfing and his faith in Jesus Christ with the youth of San Diego. Within a few years the surf camps grew into a international surfing ministry which included movie production, surf camps, mission trips, and outreach events. Bryan graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1998 and was honored to receive the PLNU Alumni award in 2010. Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife Korin and daughter Ella and his hobbies include surfing, golfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
Swanson is the founder and executive director of the Global Oceanic Foundation. He is also the president and CEO of Prime Net Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate brokerage company he founded in 1995. He has lived overseas for nine years in Western Europe and the Middle East and has on-site business negotiation and representation experience throughout the world. He has served as the chairman of the board of the Walking on Water Foundation for the past seven years and has been a board member for the past 13 years.
Scott was born in Southern California and graduated SDSU in 1992. He has worked at Regency Lighting as a sales rep for the past 12 years. He has been married to Sarah for 18 years and has a daughter Lucy and a son Saxon. Scott has been surfing for 30 years and loves the ocean. His love for Christ and surfing lead him to serving on the board at Walking on Water.
Born and raised in Southern California, Dave Downing began surfing at the age of 13 and started dreaming of becoming a professional surfer. God had different plans for Dave, and at the Age of 21 snowboarding became the passion in which he was to be a top Professional through the 1990s. All through his career he has relied on his relationship with Jesus Christ. Now at the Age of 43 he is happily married with two young boys. Dave now is working in sales and marketing with his longtime sponsor Burton Snowboards who also owns Channel Islands Surfboards. To be a part of both industries has been a blessing.
Scott Duhs is one of the founding partners of Duhs Commercial Inc. which, specialize in the sales, leasing and development of shopping centers in Southern California. He has served on various boards including Campus Crusade for Christ in San Diego and is now serving on Family Health Center for San Diego for the past 8 years. He was raised in Southern California and has lived in San Diego for over 25 years with his wife and two daughters. His passions include surfing, fly-fishing and hanging with his family and friends.
