This is a very powerful and inspiring story about my friend Peter who was shot in the neck while being a "Surfer Missionary" in El Salvador... Be inspired! Peter and his family are hosting a screening of the Promised Land movie in Seal Beach in March 2012.3 Discuss & Comment
We would like to ask you to please join our Walking On Water Support Team. Sixteen years ago God prompted Bryan Jennings to start a surf camp as a way to share his faith in Jesus Christ. Since 1995 Walking On Water has been able to share the Gospel with over 5 million people worldwide through surf camps, movies, outreach events, and mission trips. THIS HAS ONLY BEEN POSSIBLE THROUGH THE FINANCIAL AND PRAYER SUPPORT OF FRIENDS LIKE YOU! As a non-profit ministry we depend on individual donations to enable us to continue moving forward, sharing the most important message there is to share. Our goals for the 2011 fundraising campaign is to raise an additional $4,900 in monthly recurring donations and a total of $50,000 in one time donations. Will you please pray about joining the Walking On Water Support Team by becoming a monthly donor and/or making a one-time donation to help us reach our above goal? You can make a donation via the donation page on our website, www.walkingonwater.com/donate.1 Discuss & Comment
Promised Land is the story of Israel through the eyes of surfers told through the friendship between a Jewish surfer from Israel and a Christian surfer from California. We are in the final stages of production and are hoping to release it in November 2011.
